The Journal of Forensic and Allied Sciences (JFAS) invites qualified scholars, researchers, academicians, and professionals to join our team of expert peer reviewers. Our reviewers play a crucial role in maintaining the scientific quality, ethical standards, and academic rigor of all submissions we publish.

By contributing as a reviewer, you help advance knowledge in forensic science, criminology, toxicology, forensic medicine, legal studies, and allied disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered as a reviewer, applicants should:

  • Hold a Ph.D., M.Sc, MD, or equivalent degree in a relevant field

  • Have a strong academic or professional background with published research

  • Demonstrate subject-matter expertise in one or more of the following areas:

    • Forensic Science

    • Criminology

    • Digital Forensics

    • Toxicology

    • Forensic Psychology

    • Forensic Medicine

    • Legal Studies

    • Cyber Law

    • Biotechnology
    • Microbiology
    • Foot technology
    • Sociology, Anthropology, and Allied Disciplines

Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Provide timely, constructive, and unbiased reviews

  • Maintain confidentiality of manuscript content

  • Identify ethical issues, plagiarism, or data manipulation

  • Recommend acceptance, revision, or rejection based on academic merit

  • Adhere to COPE’s Ethical Guidelines for Peer Reviewers
